Mr. Fenstermacher was born in New York in 1991. He was raised in Ridgewood, New Jersey, spending his “pleasant” childhood growing up with five other brothers. One of Mr. Fens’s childhood accomplishments is throwing a no-hitter in high school.

After high school, he attended the Catholic University of America. Shortly after, Mr. Fenstermacher began studying at Fairleigh Dickinson University, graduating with his class in 2016.

Mr. Fens soon became a teacher at Whippany Park that same year, getting “straight to work!” He was inspired to become a teacher by “the idea of helping students make better choices for the future.” Here, Mr. Fenstermacher teaches Algebra II, Geometry, Geometry Honors (his favorite), and Precalculus with much enthusiasm.

Mr. Fenstermacher also loves sports, so he decided to coach our Freshman Boys Basketball and Junior Varsity Baseball teams. Mr. Fens even tries to watch these professional sports during his free time, but according to him, “There’s no such thing as free time.”
