Ever notice those new TVs in our school hallways? Well, they were just implemented this year, but why? The simplest answer: is to recall morning announcements. As most students know, it can be hard to hear morning announcements. These TVs recall, in words, the morning announcements through a slideshow. Instead of relying on flyers and the morning announcements, students can now look at a nearby corner and find a newly implemented TV with the most recent school news. But is there more to come? Currently, there is just black text on a white background, is it meant to be simplistic or will we add pictures or fancy fonts in the future? As this question lingers, students and faculty have an easier and more accessible way to be informed about sports team scores, club meetings, and other school-related announcements.
