Surprise! The New England Patriots have yet again made it to the Super Bowl. If you’re an avid football fan, you already know they will be competing against the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII. For the first time in NFL history, two postseason overtime games occurred on the same day. The first game was played between the Rams and the Saints; the score was 26-23. The second game was Patriots vs. Chiefs. The final score was 37-31 in the Patriots favor. This year’s Super Bowl is taking place on February 3, 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The New England Patriots continue to be led by coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady. With a record of 11-5 for this season, the Patriots have once again made it to the top. Similarly, the Rams have a record of 13-3. Coach Sean McVay and quarterback Jared Goff have carried the team this season. The two teams are set to battle it out in the upcoming weeks. Predictions for this year vary greatly. Everyone questions if the Patriots will be able to win their sixth Super Bowl title.
